The use of old, throw-away bowls that have been cut, reshaped and fused together with other bowls to create new objects. Giving new life as functioning bowls or decorative pieces.
Using Frank Gehry's designs as inspiration, the bowls boast interesting lines and curves which overhang creating an engulfing effect from the bottom upward.
In the process of making these bowls, I also found that the waste material could be used to create saucers for cups, which worked well with the bowls.
